The Program on Senior Citizens promotes the well-being and active lifestyle of senior citizens, ensuring they continue to enjoy and engage in meaningful activities. Through initiatives like the Elderly Filipino Week, Walk for Life, and mall forums on health, fitness, and fashion, SM empowers Super Grannies to stay active and connected. In partnership with OSCA, DSWD, DOH, and local governments, SM Cares champions a vibrant and inclusive community for seniors.

Complementing this, the Super Grannies Club is SM Supermalls' official Facebook group for senior citizens, offering exclusive discounts, learning sessions on technology and wellness, and activities that promote connection and joy.

Emergency Preparedness Forum for PWDs and Senior Citizens

The Philippines is the 3rd most vulnerable country to calamities and disasters. It is incumbent upon us to make sure that the sectors of society whom we serve and are at most risk, are taught and prepared for emergencies.

The Emergency Preparedness Forum is held annually across select SM Malls to educate and train PWDs and Senior Citizens on emergency preparedness.

Elderly Filipino Week

Together with the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) and the SM Super Grannies Club, Elderly Filipino Week is held to honor the senior citizen community with a series of fun, engaging, and meaningful activities.
